What specs this game should have ?
As the graphics even on highest settings look like CoD2 from 2005 , i would say an ATI 9800 Pro or Nvidia 7600 GT should do for ghosts.
I have seriously no idea why this game which looks and runs like a 5$ student project requires anything on actual hardware - hands up.
The requirements to run this game smoothly at 1080p maxed out do not currently exist!!!
I have one of the most powerful gaming setups that you can buy right now and I still cannot run it maxed out without it stuttering like crazy.
The Ram usage in Multiplayer/Campaign is around the 2.5Gb mark and that means those people with 4Gb should easily be allowed to play this game, but the devs are just being stupid and not allowing a decent majority of gamers to play this.
The GPU ram usage I have not checked yet but I will be in around 10 minutes when I try the game again.
I am currently running the following specs and I get on the Campaign a nearly smooth game and around 150fps to 300fps with no problem but on Multiplayer I struggle to reach 80fps.
Intel Core I7 3930K @ 4.6ghz, prime stable for 24 hours
Asus Rampage IV Extreme
16Gb Corsair 1600mhz CL8 4x4Gb Dimms
2x Gigabyte GTX780Ti 3GB in SLI
Corsair Force 3 240Gb SSD
The game is poorly coded and poorly optimized plain and simple.
They say it's the best looking COD of all time, well I am sorry but that is Bull because the PS3 version looks identical to the PC version and Ghost's looks marginally better than Call Of Duty World At War, I don't know where all these supposed improvements are but I cannot see anything that makes me think this game is running in DX11 and actually, makes me think it's running in DX9.
The Dedicated servers are not being used as proven by the video that I posted the other day and by the video that someone posted about catching a cheater because at the end of it, it clearly says "lost connection to host".
Infinity Ward have lied through there back teeth and I only wish they were a UK company because I would have them in court for False Advertisement!
I honestly regret buying this game, and I feel robbed and I will honestly say now that I will not be buying any further Infinity Ward games because they do not deserve my money, Activision should be ashamed to have the name Call Of Duty attached to this POS!
