I have the Wii U version of SF and I was blown away by the PS4 version, which made me wish there was a PC version, not only because of superior graphics but also because me and my friends are mainly PC gamers, it would be much easier to get them into Skylanders if a PC version existed. I bought SSA on PC only to be disappointed that it requires the CD to be inserted(even after installation) and I don't even have a CD drive.
Please Activision/toys of bob, do what Disney did, releasing Disney infinite on PC for free is the right move, which increased my interest in DI considerably. I love Skylanders, and I would gladly re-buy SF on PC if it was ever available.
SSA needs the CD to be able to run because it runs on SecuROM, a controversial digital rights management which placed a limitation on installations a product key can activate until the customer needs to contact customer service to reset the activations, which normally has a need for the disk to always be inserted to play
