A logical, objective perspective on the two most prevalent first person shooters in the market today. Which is superior, Call of Duty or Titanfall? A link to both the video and the Respawn Entertainment forum post have been placed below for those of you that are interested in viewing either. Let the discussion begin.
Drew... Do you really think you can 'stop it' even if you wanted to? Besides, There may be ppl like myself who are interested in other ppl's thoughts on the two games. You have to admit there were alot of people who thought TF would be the game to finally dethrone CoD. I for one am curious how the two compare.
Besides... the flame war hasnt started yet (but it is early) lol
I'm interested to get peoples take on this, guess I'll throw in my 2 cents in:
I'll give my opinion on titanfall vs ghosts since its the current one,
Pros: smooth gameplay, good hit detection, not as many hit markers as past cods, deeper customization ( perks, suits etc) tons of weapons, diverse game modes, extinction, solid maps.
Cons: graphics, mostly un-interesting killstreaks, map destruction was not done well, 2 or 3 maps are too large.
Pros: movement is amazing feels more natural, wall running + jet pack, mechs, good looking graphics, very well designed maps.burn cards.
Cons: almost no customization, very little weapons, only 3 titans, only a few game modes, majority of kills come against npc, titans are aquired via time instead of streaks resulting in getting titan too much and getting boring, no horde mode or real story mode.
overall I think Ghost is the better game and better bang for your buck, It just has more, I loved Titanfall for the first 2 weeks and was in love, but it quickly faded, I just can't enjoy the game when I hardly run into other players most time is spent killing npcs. Titanfall had the core to be a better game but just not enough "meat" if you will. Ghost gives me tons of different experiences and I get tons of hours out of the game, I boot up titanfall every now and again for an hour or 2. I recommend playing it but you should rent it, don't rely on it to be your primary fps.
