And it will still be a crutch for people... they will use it thinking it gives them an advantage... get tunnel vision... and better players will take advantage of that.
The player running around the map with a TF isn't what bothers me. The player hiding behind cover in a position that maximizes their FoV and limiting their flank is what bothers me. We saw with the TF in Black Ops Il and Thermal in Ghosts. Just sit in a bush on the edge of the map or headglitch behind a car/crate. You can't flank them because of where they are and because they're so well protected you can't out gun them head on.
The moral of the story here is that TF and other sight assisting scopes only serve the purpose of helping players play like asshats.
